Job description

Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Odessa, Texas.

ICU RN – Odessa, TX

Start Date: 9/8/2026
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Hours: 48 hours/week

Pay:
Weekly Gross: $2,727.52
Taxable Rate: $25.50/hr
OT Rate: $38.25/hr
Weekly Stipend: $1,401.52
Lodging: $883.52/week
M&IE: $518/week

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of ICU RN experience
  • Previous travel experience required
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC or TCAR
  • Cerner experience preferred

Clinical Experience:
Must be comfortable managing critically ill patients, including ventilators, arterial and central lines, vasoactive/cardiac drips, IV sedation, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, blood products, ABGs, dysrhythmias, stroke/CVA, neuro patients, ICP/EVD/lumbar drains, renal failure, TBI, post-neurosurgery patients, and multisystem organ dysfunction.

Floating Requirement:
RN must be willing to float between ICU, PCU, and MS/Tele based on census and facility needs. Floating may occur for the majority of scheduled shifts. MS/Tele ratios may be 5–6:1.
