Job Qualifications 

The following requirements must be met in order to qualify for this position.

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week

Responsibilities:

The individual in this position is expected to engage in the following work-related activities and complete all training requirements

including:

  • Hands-on stations training
  • Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests
  • Follow recipes and portion standards consistently
  • Maintain awareness of current promotions
  • Be knowledgeable about menu items and build charts
  • Be knowledgeable with the Zaxby’s Loyalty app
  • Enthusiastically represent the Zaxby’s brand
  • Keep the kitchen and your work area clean, organized up to health code standards
  • Ensure orders are hot, fresh and no missing items before giving to front of house staff for expediting
  • Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment
  • Restock stations of any necessary product and communicate low inventory
  • Maintain equipment and inform management of maintenance needs
  • Work efficiently especially during high-volume rushes without sacrificing quality
  • Assist in other areas of kitchen tasks, including washing dishing and taking out trash
  • Other work assigned

Capabilities Requirement:

  • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch or climb, including the use of ladders
  • Frequently lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds, sometime lifting overhead
  • Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
  • Communicate proficiently through speech, reading and writing
  • Maintain effective audio-visual perception and judgement to observe and respond to the current environment
  • Work in an environment that features hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens
