About the Role:

As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food that meets our establishment's standards and satisfies our customers. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, and ensuring food safety and hygiene throughout the process. This position requires working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail and consistency. You will collaborate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to support smooth kitchen operations and timely food production. Ultimately, your work will contribute to an exceptional dining experience that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes, safety instructions, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle kitchen tools and stand for long periods.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to follow directions from the Head Chef and work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal culinary training or certification.
  • Experience working under a Head Chef or in a similar supervisory kitchen role.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean, organized, and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen inventory, including receiving and storing supplies.
  • Maintain consistent food presentation and portion control to meet customer expectations.
  • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and moving kitchen equipment or supplies as needed.

Skills:
