Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate high school computer science teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence and student growth, bring creativity to their instruction, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Candidates must demonstrate a knowledge of Computer Science Technology instruction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and standards-based instruction
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect student needs and curriculum goals
  • Establish a classroom culture that promotes learning, respect, and high expectations
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
  • Assess and track student performance; provide feedback and intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership
  • Participate in professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives
  • Support school events, field trips, and community-building activities
  • Complete administrative responsibilities including attendance, grading, and lesson planning
  • Adhere to all school, district, and network policies and procedures

Required Qualifications
  • Valid New Jersey CE, CEAS, or Standard teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
  • Must pass a criminal history background check
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field

  • Competitive salary range: 60,000K-80,000K
