Your Roleย 


As a Production Lead, you'll support the Production Supervisor and Chief in leading a team responsible for automotive salvage, recycling operations, and facility upkeep. You'll ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity standards are met while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.ย 

What You'll Do as a Production Leadย 

  • Foster a "Safety First" and "Environmental Stewardship" cultureย 
  • Lead by example in alignment with company core values - Respect, Help, Learn & Growย 
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop production team membersย 
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and ensure work areas meet safety standardsย 
  • Manage daily production schedules and performance goalsย 
  • Oversee automotive salvage and recycling processesย 
  • Operate heavy equipment (loaders, forklifts, crushers, etc.) as neededย 
  • Audit and record inventory levels to ensure accuracyย 
  • Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate maintenanceย 
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices (SOPs)ย 
  • Support hiring, training, and performance management for production staffย 
  • Collaborate with management to optimize workflow and process efficiencyย 
  • Work standard production hours (Monday-Friday), with occasional overtime, weekends, or holidaysย 

What You Bring as a Production Leadย 

  • Leadership or supervisory experience in production or industrial operationsย 
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service excellenceย 
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive parts and systemsย 
  • Strong organizational and administrative skillsย 
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environmentย 
  • Experience operating industrial or heavy equipmentย 
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and mobile toolsย 
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skillsย 
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying weather conditionsย 
  • Reliable transportationย 

Preferred:ย 

  • Experience in the automotive salvage or recycling industryย 
  • Experience maintaining heavy equipment (loaders, hydraulics, tow motors, etc.)ย 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanishย
