JMA is currently hiring for full-time Medical Assistant CMA or Registered Medical Assistant RMA to join our team!

Responsibilities:

By joining our fantastic team of providers and support staff, the CMA - RMA will *Utilize their medical assistant skills with the following clinical responsibilities:

  • Manage the intake process; consisting of taking and recording of vital signs, height, weight, vision, hearing, and data related to the patient's visit.
  • Gather patient and family data, including medical and social history.
  • Review patient's current medication list, allergies and preferred pharmacy.
  • Assist the provider as directed, during treatments, examinations and procedures.
  • Administer vaccinations under the direction of a provider.
  • Collect specimens, performs phlebotomy, and perform basic lab testing.
  • Review the patient record to determine current and potential care needs.
  • Provide patient with aftervisit summary, followup care or procedural instructions and/or educational materials as directed by provider.
  • Opportunities to expand Medical Assistant CMA - RMA skills:
  • Coordination of specialty programs Vaccine Inventory Coordinator, Population Health Specialist, and other opportunities for continued growth.
  • Qualifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
  • Proficient in medical administrative support and patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience with EHR systems and vital sign monitoring.
  • Basic life support certification.
