Job description

The Tree Farm is a new destination private golf club in Batesburg, South Carolina. It is the vision of PGA Tour player and golf architecture enthusiast Zac Blair. The routing of the golf course was completed by world renowned golf course architect Tom Doak and the design of the course, and all its features was completed by Kye Goalby and his team of shapers.

The Tree Farm is a private boutique golf club with a membership that puts a premium on impeccable daily conditioning throughout the golfing season. Annual rounds played will range from 12,000-15,000. The club will be closed from June 21-Early September on a yearly basis to complete cultural practices and miscellaneous course improvement projects.

The Tree Farm’s vision is simple, come as you are and enjoy a world class golf course and hospitality operation with likeminded individuals that love the game.

The Shuttle Driver will make the first impression upon our members and guests by extending a warm welcome, providing information about the Club and local area. The Shuttle Driver will provide exceptional service, anticipate member needs and manage all requests with a sense of urgency and will maintain a proactive approach to providing solutions. The Shuttle Driver will safely transport members of The Tree Farm and their guests to various places such as; downtown Aiken and surrounding areas and airport transfers.

  • Provide comfortable, safe, and secure transport for member, guests, and personnel, adhering to traffic laws and The Tree Farm policies at all times.
  • Assist with shuttle arrangements for club events, ensuring that transportation logistics are organized and efficient.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of any vehicle maintenance needs.
  • Document all property vehicle incidents (i.e., damages, accidents) and provide reports of incidents to manager;
  • Report all injuries, minor and major, and unsafe work conditions to manager;
  • Comply with company quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional;
  • Keep record of calls for service.
  • Deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks.
  • Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Inspect property vehicle for damage and ensure both the interior and exterior of the vehicle are clean, neat and ready at the start of and the end of each shift;
  • Check tire pressure and fluid levels for property vehicle and refuel as necessary;
  • Ensure that all lights, signals, mirrors, brakes, seat belts, etc. are functioning and in good working condition;
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when transporting sensitive materials or information.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s license or International Equivalent in good standing.
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • At least six (6) months of guest-service experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club.
  • Prior valet attendant in luxury club or private resort setting.
  • Proficient in proper and safe driving of vehicles.
  • Driving record that meets the Club’s insurance requirements.
  • Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time and use vision, hearing, and hands/arms to drive multi-passenger vehicles.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length due to business demands.
  • Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and desire to work in fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • May be exposed to individuals under the influence of alcohol.
  • Depending on business demands this individual may be required to work weekend/ evening hours and/or perform additional job responsibilities.
  • May be exposed to severe weather and driving condition.
  • Clean and neat appearance required, uniforms to be worn as required by brand standards.
  • Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
  • Hearing, writing, typing.
  • Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
