Job description

At Pequod’s Pizza, we pride ourselves in delivering delicious, high-quality pizza and exceptional service to our customers. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable pizza delivery driver to join the team at our high-volume pizzeria, rated number one in the county. As a delivery driver, you will help ensure that our guests receive their orders accurately, quickly, and safely. This position offers flexible hours with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver pizzas and other menu items to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Ensure the accuracy of orders and confirm that all items are included before departure.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries.
  • Maintain and clean and organized personal delivery vehicle.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe delivery practices.
  • Handle cash, and other payment methods and provide change or receipts as needed.
  • Ensure timely return to the restaurant for the next delivery or assignment.
  • Assist in the restaurant as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable personal vehicle with current registration and insurance in working condition for deliveries.
  • Strong knowledge of local delivery area (3 miles of restaurant) and ability to navigate efficiently.
  • Previous experience in delivery driving, customer service, or similar roles preferred.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

COMPENSATION:
  • $12.62 per hour + delivery fee + tips – opportunity to earn up to $30 per hour.
