LA Metro is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to spearhead the implementation of a robust enterprise network. As the key transportation planner and operator for one of the nation's largest counties, employing over 11,000 professionals, LA Metro is dedicated to continuously enhancing the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of Los Angeles County's transportation system. Within the Information and Technology Systems Department (ITS), this role involves overseeing a complex technology infrastructure spanning 25 facilities within a 60-mile radius of the headquarters. Managing over 4,000 computers, 600 servers, 170 critical applications, and a diverse range of communication systems, the Network Engineer will contribute to more than 300 ongoing projects focused on optimizing existing technologies and introducing innovative solutions in alignment with Metro's strategic business goals. Role Description:
As a Network Engineer at LA Metro, your primary role involves designing and implementing secure network architectures for IT/SCADA/OT systems.
