Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Profession: Cath Lab Technologist

Shift: 10-Hour Days
Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Experience: Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience
License: Required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS
Must-Have:
- 2 years Cath Lab experience
- Specific experience based on departmental needs
- Proficiency with EMR/Equipment: Merge, Cerner
Description:
Prepare procedure suites and ensure radiation safety setup.
Calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring.
Pull supplies and set up the sterile table.
Scrub in and assist physicians with procedures including device exchange, guidewire manipulation, catheter placement, balloon and stent deployment.
Manage radiation dose and imaging angles.
Clean, restock, and turnover the procedure room.
Perform sheath removals.
Work with a team of 1 RN and 3 Techs in the Cath Lab.
Experience a weekly schedule of 4 ten-hour days with a rotating day off.
Participate in weeknight and weekend call rotation; approximately once every 3 weekdays and every 3 weekends.
Holiday call may be required.
Response time for call is expected to be within 30 minutes.
Hybrid roles may involve vascular cases.
Scrubs are provided, but personal scrub caps are allowed.
Unit-specific orientation includes 2-3 full days of training and shadowing.
Clocking in and out is mandatory.
