The Central Valley Immigrant Integration Collaborative (CVIIC) is a Fresno-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering immigrant families throughout California's Central Valley. Through strong regional partnerships and community-driven initiatives, CVIIC works alongside nonprofit organizations, public agencies, educational institutions, and private-sector partners to expand opportunity and strengthen immigrant communities.

CVIIC is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Bilingual Regional Partnerships Specialist to help lead and strengthen collaborative efforts across the San Joaquin Valley, including Kern, Kings, Tulare, Fresno, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin counties.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional who is passionate about immigrant rights, coalition-building, and regional impact. The selected candidate will play a key role in coordinating partnerships and advancing collaborative initiatives in three priority areas:

Immigration legal services

Immigrant entrepreneurship

Preparation for the 2030 Census

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, strategic relationship-builder, and self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments and is committed to advancing equity and opportunity for immigrant communities.

This position is based in Fresno, California, with regular travel throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Evening and weekend availability may occasionally be required.

This is a grant-funded position with funding currently secured for one year, with strong potential for continued employment and long-term professional growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Bilingual Regional Partnerships Specialist will:

  • Support the planning and implementation of regional initiatives related to immigrant rights, immigrant entrepreneurship, and 2030 Census engagement.
  • Develop and strengthen partnerships with nonprofit organizations, public agencies, educational institutions, and private-sector stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate regional meetings, convenings, and collaborative working groups.
  • Strengthen existing regional networks and identify new opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.
  • Build and maintain effective communication systems with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Track activities, maintain documentation, and assist with reporting and grant-related deliverables.
  • Represent CVIIC in community meetings, regional collaborations, and public events.
  • Other tasks assigned by Executive Director.

Qualifications & Desired Skills

Competitive candidates will demonstrate:

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in nonprofit, community engagement, coalition-building, partnership development, or related work.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • A strong commitment to immigrant rights and community empowerment.
  • Familiarity with the Central Valley's nonprofit and community landscape is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general digital tools; willingness to learn platforms such as WordPress.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Authorization to work lawfully in the United States.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
