What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Weekend Bcba position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Weekend BCBA, you need in-depth knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), experience in behavioral assessment and intervention, and a master’s degree with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. This schedule can offer valuable work-life balance for professionals seeking nontraditional hours, while still allowing for meaningful client impact and career advancement opportunities.

  • Supervise behavior technicians and case supervisors
  • Conduct FBAs, update client programs, and track progress
  • Provide parent coaching and support
  • Maintain quality documentation and reports
  • Mentor staff and lead monthly training sessions
  • Stay current with research and share best practices with the team

What You Bring
Required:

  • Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, special education, child development, or a related field
  • BCBA certification (or qualifying licensed healthcare professional)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills

Preferred:

  • 2+ years in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience developing behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans
  • Previous work as a Behavior Technician or Case Supervisor

If you’re passionate about helping children thrive and want a role that blends leadership, flexibility, and purpose, we’d love to meet you.
