San Bernardino Unified School District

Compensation : Starting at $70+ increasing with experience

Term: 2027 School Year

Position Overview Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support San Bernardino Unified School District. This role focuses on delivering high-quality behavioral services, collaborating with school teams, and ensuring students receive effective, evidence-based interventions. The BCBA will play a key role in staff training, student support, and district-wide behavior initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

  • Provide consultation and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff.

  • Train school personnel on behavior strategies, data collection, and implementation fidelity.

  • Analyze student data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide behavior-analytic recommendations.

  • Support district-wide positive behavior support initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing.

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field.

  • Experience in Kโ€“12 school settings preferred.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work across multiple school sites as needed.
