As a Weekend Barista, your main responsibilities include preparing and serving coffee and specialty drinks, handling customer orders at the counter or drive-thru, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the café. Our mission is to provide our customers the highest quality Latin-inspired coffee, beverages, and pastries in a setting that is warm, inviting, contemporary, and authentically Latino. Established in 2008, we have since expanded into 18 cafés, and growing.
We are currently seeking highly motivated and energetic individuals for the position of Barista at our location near Cal State LA. As a Barista you will be expected to provide a positive Tierra Mia Coffee experience to all customers and individuals that visit our store. The ideal candidate is responsible, respectful, and eager to learn and grow within the company. Must be willing to work well in a team setting and maintain a positive and friendly demeanor when communicating with fellow baristas and customers.
Time Commitment: Part-time, 20 – 25 weekly hours, weekdays and weekends.
Compensation: Starting at $15.50/hr.
