About the Role
The Business Banking Market Manager leads a team of Business Bankers to drive growth in core deposits, loans, and non-interest income across assigned markets. This role acts as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador within the community, building visibility and strengthening client relationships. The position is responsible for achieving market-level financial performance by executing outbound sales strategies, developing new business, and deepening existing client relationships.

What You'll Do
• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence and
support branch sales initiatives.
• Lead talent management activities, including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching,
training, and succession planning.
• Support client engagement by delivering education, resolving operational issues, and
fostering an exceptional client experience.
• Promote a strong culture of risk management by ensuring team adherence to regulatory,
operational, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and maintain satisfactory audit
results.
• Maintain safety and security standards for clients, employees, and branch operations.
• Allocate approximately 75% of work efforts to outbound sales activities, including
prospecting, client meetings, and community networking.
What We're Looking For
(Required)
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Administration) or equivalent professional
experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience related to branch operations, sales, or business banking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience identifying and
implementing solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with
all levels of management.
• Broad understanding of consumer and business banking products and operational
processes.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and reprioritize as
needed.
• Proficiency with Fiserv or similar core systems and general computer applications (Word,
Excel, Windows-based platforms).

Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
