Job Summary
 
We are looking for an Automotive Parts Manager to join the team at our busy auto parts center. If you are a mechanically-inclined automotive professional with strong management and communication skills, we want to hear from you.
 
As the Automotive Parts Manager, you will be responsible for duties ranging from helping service technicians with parts requirements to tracking inventory. You will use your negotiation skills to secure the best prices on inventory and ensure a consistent balance between supply and demand. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized and have in-depth knowledge of automotive parts.
 
Responsibilities
  • Maintain consistent inventory levels of parts to ensure auto repairs and sales can move forward without delay.
  • Record and track auto parts sales and repair work
  • Maintain auto parts warranty information
  • Hire and manage auto parts department employees
  • Provide assistance, when necessary, with promotions or marketing efforts to increase sales
  • Ensure all parts ordered meet the quality standards of the company
  • Secure best available pricing on automotive parts using strong negotiation and communication skills
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • At least 3 years of experience in auto repair or auto parts sales is required
  • Management experience is preferred
  • Strong customer service, administrative, and organizational skills
