A Weekend Audio Visual Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio, video, and lighting equipment for events, meetings, or productions that take place on weekends. They ensure all AV components function properly, assist with live streaming or recording, and provide technical support during events. This role often involves working with clients, event coordinators, and performers to achieve high-quality audio and visual experiences. Weekend Audio Visual Technicians are responsible for setting up, operating, and dismantling audio, video, and lighting equipment before, during, and after live events. Duties often include testing microphones, speakers, projectors, and other AV gear to ensure everything runs smoothly, as well as providing technical support to presenters or performers on-site. You may also troubleshoot equipment issues in real-time and coordinate closely with event coordinators and other technical staff to meet specific event needs. This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly, as last-minute changes or requests are common in live event environments.
