THE JOB:
Bring events to life behind the scenes-and sometimes center stage! As an Audio Visual Technician at MGM National Harbor, you'll be the energy behind unforgettable meetings, shows, and experiences. From crisp sound to stunning visuals, you'll help create "wow" moments our guests will never forget-all while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Set up and break down audio, video, lighting, and internet equipment for a variety of events

  • Operate A/V equipment for meetings, presentations, and special events
  • Support clients by troubleshooting and guiding them in using A/V equipment
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by understanding needs and providing solutions
  • Transport, handle, and maintain equipment with care and precision
  • Operate scissor lifts for equipment setup and breakdown
  • Calculate electrical loads and safely work with high-voltage equipment
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and best practices
  • Jump in on additional tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

THE SCHEDULE: 4:00PM - 12:45AM Friday - Saturday
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in A/V, production, theater, or a related field

Pay Rate:
The rate for this role is:
$28.00
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
