Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
Location: Sacramento
Employment Type: Full-Time
Practice Setting: Outpatient / Primary Care
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join a well-established outpatient primary care practice in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care
Manage acute and chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma)
Conduct routine physical exams and wellness visits
Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate specialty referrals
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in EMR system
Educate patients on preventive health measures and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and support staff
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active or eligible for California medical license
DEA certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
