What are some of the most common challenges physicians face when balancing clinical duties with administrative responsibilities?

Physicians often find it challenging to balance their time between direct patient care and the growing administrative requirements, such as electronic health record documentation, insurance paperwork, and compliance tasks. These responsibilities can contribute to longer work hours and increased stress, making effective time management and delegation essential skills. Many institutions support physicians by providing scribes, administrative assistants, or utilizing technology solutions, but it remains important for physicians to set boundaries and prioritize tasks to maintain both quality patient care and personal well-being.
