Job Description Physician Assistant (PA) Waldorf, MD Overview: Our internal medicine practice in Waldorf is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends. Position Offers: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, no weekends Full-time position Competitive salary: $110,000-130,000 (DOE) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Retirement savings plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed clinical assessments, including history taking and physical examinations, for adult internal medicine patients Formulate differential diagnoses and develop evidence-based care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Manage and prescribe medications in accordance with Maryland law and practice protocols Document all patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans in the EHR Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications Coordinate follow-up care, including ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities and adherence to clinical guidelines Qualifications: Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Maryland, or eligibility Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Why Join Us: Join an internal medicine practice where your clinical expertise directly supports adult patients through comprehensive, evidence-based care, backed by strong compensation and comprehensive benefits.
