Now Hiring- Weekend HVAC Lead Installer
Precision Today is a trusted home service provider serving Franklin Park homeowners with dependable plumbing, HVAC, and electrical solutions. Our team is committed to delivering efficient, high-quality service that keeps home systems running smoothly and customers comfortable year-round.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HVAC Lead Installer to lead our installation team in the field on the weekends. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in overseeing HVAC system installations, guiding and mentoring install helpers, and ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while delivering an excellent customer experience.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead and manage residential HVAC system installations, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
  • Oversee and direct install helpers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and correctly
  • Ensure all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes
  • Review job requirements and plan installations for proper materials, tools, and timeline
  • Perform system start-ups, testing, and quality checks to confirm proper operation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any installation challenges or on-site issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe job site
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners to explain installation processes, system operation, and next steps
  • Complete accurate job documentation, including materials used and work performed
  • Collaborate with dispatch and management to ensure on-time project completion and customer satisfaction
  • Uphold a professional image and deliver a high-quality customer experience on every job

What You Will bring:
  • 4+ years of experience in residential HVAC installation as a lead
  • Universal EPA Certification
  • Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, and duct systems
  • Proven ability to lead installation jobs and manage a team
  • Ability to read and interpret job specs, blueprints, and installation guidelines
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varied environments (attics, crawl spaces, outdoors)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to high-quality workmanship
  • Successfully complete our screening process, which includes assessments, interviews, background checks, and drug screening.
