Job description

Role Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager to own both organic and paid social execution across key platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook. This role is ideal for someone who can move quickly, create thematic campaigns, test and optimize paid ads, and consistently show up with daily content that drives engagement and growth. You will be responsible for weekday daily posting, campaign amplification, and ongoing optimization based on performance insights.
Scope and Duration:
Time Commitment: ~20 hours/week
Engagement Type: Contractor / Freelancer (Potential to convert to Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, create, and execute thematic social media campaigns aligned to business goals
  • Use client's blog content along with video and written content submitted by therapists to create/inform Instagram posts.
  • Develop and execute a TikTok content strategy focused on mental health education, therapist insights, platform trends, and audience engagement
  • Ideate content that speaks to hot topics, aligns with younger audiences, and follows trends/current memes.
  • Manage organic social posting (daily, weekdays) across channels such as TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram (including link in bio coordination), and Facebook
  • Create and test paid social ads (copy + creative direction), including A/B testing
  • Collaborate on messaging, hooks, formats, and CTAs that convert
  • Schedule, publish, and amplify posts for reach and engagement
  • Monitor performance metrics (CTR, engagement rate, CPC, conversions) and iterate
  • Stay current on social trends, ad formats, and platform best practices

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years managing social media for B2C and B2B brands
  • Experience running and optimizing paid social campaigns
  • Strong copy instincts with an eye for creative direction
  • Strong understanding of TikTok trends, content formats , and algorithm best practices
  • Ability to work independently and deliver consistently
  • Comfort using social scheduling and ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)

Nice to Have
  • Startup or early-stage company experience
  • Light design/video capabilities (Canva, Figma, short-form video tools)
  • Experience working with product-led or fintech/healthtech tools
