What is a Weekday Fire Watch Plant?

A Weekday Fire Watch Plant is a safety professional responsible for monitoring areas in industrial or plant environments during weekday shifts to prevent and respond to fire hazards. Their main duties include patrolling designated work zones, checking for fire risks, ensuring fire safety equipment is accessible, and responding quickly to any fire-related incidents. Fire Watch personnel are especially important during hot work operations, such as welding or cutting, to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
