Job description

Adecco is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Extrusion Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. The Extrusion Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion equipment while ensuring product quality, safety, and production efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production requirements.

  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.

  • Perform equipment start-ups, shutdowns, and product changeovers.

  • Conduct quality inspections and measurements throughout the production process.

  • Accurately document production data, including output, scrap, and machine performance.

  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report maintenance concerns.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and operating procedures.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Assist with preventative maintenance activities as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with production team members and supervisors to meet daily goals.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Previous extrusion machine operation experience preferred.

  • Manufacturing experience required.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to read work orders, specifications, and production documents.

  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.


Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
