Job description

The yardworker plays an essential role in maintaining the outdoor areas and equipment of the facility. Working primarily with power tools, machinery, and forklifts, this position supports a small maintenance team to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient yard environment. The role operates on a regular weekday schedule with opportunities for ongoing training and skill development.

Responsibilities

> Pull material and load customer orders

> Unload and check in incoming inventory

> Maintain yard stock, assist in fabrication shop as needed

  • Perform ground maintenance to keep yards clean and orderly
  • Operate power tools, machinery, and forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Handle and organize materials to support daily operations
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Manage inventory of tools and materials to ensure availability
