Job description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year in Anoka, MN. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and staff to foster academic, emotional, and behavioral success. The assignment spans the full academic year, beginning in late August and continuing through June, with consistent weekday hours—ideal for those seeking flexibility and balance in their schedule.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
  • Experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and behavior interventions in K-12 settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and conduct problem-solving meetings
  • Up-to-date resume reflecting relevant experience and credentials

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility determination
  • Participate in the development of IEPs and provide ongoing recommendations to support student success
  • Deliver direct and indirect services, including consultation, crisis intervention, and counseling
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design effective behavioral and academic interventions
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and required reports
  • Serve multiple grade levels and locations within the district as assigned

This role offers consistent weekday hours (Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week), ideal for professionals seeking steady, meaningful part-time work. The district values hands-on support and prefers an onsite psychologist, but will also consider qualified onsite School Social Workers.
