"To Create Unforgettable Memories"
Join Greek Peak Mountain Resort as a Marketing Manager
Greek Peak Mountain Resort is looking for a creative, organized, and relationship-driven Marketing Manager to help lead the rollout and growth of Greek Peak Weddings, the resort's unified wedding brand.
This role will focus heavily on promoting The Lookout at Hope Lake as the flagship wedding venue within a full-service resort wedding experience that includes on-site lodging at Hope Lake Lodge, catering, food and beverage, events support, room blocks, rehearsal dinners, and guest experiences.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketer who enjoys storytelling, content creation, event promotion, partnerships, and working closely with sales teams. This position is a key part of Greek Peak's plan to grow qualified wedding inquiries, strengthen planner and vendor relationships, improve wedding marketing content, and support one clear lead funnel for Greek Peak Weddings.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the growth and day-to-day marketing execution of Greek Peak Weddings.
  • Help position The Lookout at Hope Lake as the flagship venue within Greek Peak's full-service resort wedding experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with wedding planners, photographers, florists, DJs, bridal shops, content creators, influencers, and referral partners.
  • Coordinate planner/vendor outreach, venue tours, previews, open houses, styled shoots, tastings, and wedding showcase events.
  • Support wedding-focused content creation, including real wedding features, seasonal inspiration, venue highlights, partner spotlights, galleries, and short-form video.
  • Help develop content for social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok/Reels, YouTube, and LinkedIn as appropriate.
  • Identify PR, editorial, and influencer opportunities for Greek Peak Weddings, The Lookout, Hope Lake Lodge, and the full resort wedding experience.
  • Help manage and optimize wedding platform listings such as The Knot, WeddingWire, and other approved venue platforms.
  • Support the sales team with wedding marketing materials, including venue guides, one-sheets, FAQs, gallery links, planner resources, package links, and other sales collateral.
  • Work with the CRM/Website/SEO team member to help track referral sources, platform performance, event leads, partner outreach, and content-driven inquiries.
  • Participate in weekly sales and marketing huddles and monthly reporting related to wedding marketing performance.
  • Support additional resort marketing initiatives, sponsorships, events, graphics, and content needs as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, hospitality, weddings/events, tourism, destination marketing, lifestyle brands, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with social media content planning and basic performance analysis.
  • Comfortable working with sales teams and supporting lead-generation goals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
  • Interest in weddings, events, hospitality, resort experiences, and destination marketing.
  • Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and events as needed.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools, CRM systems, email platforms, social media platforms, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or basic reporting tools.

Preferred Experience
  • Marketing experience with weddings, venues, hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, or hospitality brands.
  • Familiarity with the Central New York, Finger Lakes, Upstate New York, Northeast, and/or national wedding market.
  • Experience working with wedding planners, photographers, bridal publications, venue platforms, influencers, or referral partners.
  • Experience with Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok/Reels, short-form video, photography, or content coordination.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, UTM tracking, email marketing, and lead attribution.
  • Experience helping plan vendor events, styled shoots, or promotional events.

Ideal Candidate
The right person for this role is a creative storyteller, organized project manager, strong communicator, and relationship builder. They should be comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution and should enjoy working in a fast-paced resort environment where marketing, sales, events, lodging, food and beverage, and guest experience all come together.
Schedule and Work Environment
This is a full-time position based at Greek Peak Mountain Resort in Cortland, NY. Some evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required for events, open houses, venue tours, styled shoots, and partner activations.
The position may involve time throughout the resort property, including The Lookout at Hope Lake, Hope Lake Lodge, event spaces, outdoor photo locations, and other resort venues.
Why Join Greek Peak

The Marketing Manager will help connect brand storytelling, content creation, vendor partnerships, event promotion, platform visibility, and sales support into one coordinated effort designed to grow wedding inquiries, bookings, and total resort wedding revenue.
