Events Bartender & ServerPosition Summary

The Williamsburg Winery is seeking reliable and hospitality-focused team members to support weddings, private events, and winery functions. This position requires individuals who are comfortable both bartending and serving food throughout an event.

Team members will assist with the full event process, including setup, food and beverage service, guest assistance, breakdown, and cleanup. This is a part-time position with most shifts occurring during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up tables, chairs, linens, bars, buffets, and beverage stations
  • Bartend event bars and serve wine, beer, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Provide responsible and professional alcohol service
  • Serve plated meals, buffets, and passed hors d’oeuvres
  • Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately
  • Run food, clear dishes, bus tables, and reset service areas
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to guests
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked event spaces
  • Assist with event breakdown, dish handling, sweeping, mopping, and cleanup
  • Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and workplace safety requirements
  • Complete required alcohol service certifications and training
  • Perform additional event-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
