Job description

A community services organization in New York City is seeking a new Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and/or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to join their team as a Clinical Assessment Specialist.
About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 5pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm
Responsibilities:
  • Orienting clients to the WeCARE Program
  • Collecting and managing documentation for Clinical Assessments
  • Conducting participant interviews and evaluations
  • Documenting client services in management systems
  • Performing outreach for client appointments
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of related work experience
  • Master's Degree
  • One of the following NYS licensures: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and/or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Mental and Behavioral Health experience
  • Computer savvy (Able to type 40 wpm)
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organizational abilities
  • Detail-oriented
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Experience working with the Substance Abuse and/or IDD population
  • Proficiency in proprietary EMRs, like Seams and FecapCares
