Position Title: Web Content & Social Media Specialist / IT Support

Position Description: The Web Content & Social Media Specialist / IT Support Technician will be responsible for promoting the activities, events, and achievements of our campuses through social media management, website content development, photography, videography, digital communications, and basic technology support services.

This role requires someone who is comfortable attending school events, and able to create engaging digital content that reflects the culture and mission of our schools.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media & Digital Content
  • Create and manage engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital platforms
  • Share campus news, student activities, special events (graduations, award ceremonies, guest visits), and organizational achievements
  • Develop monthly social media content calendars and posting schedules
  • Monitor social media engagement and audience interaction
  1. Photography & Videography
  • Attend school events, ceremonies, activities, and community programs across all five campuses.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos for promotional and informational use.
  • Edit photos and videos for social media, website content, and marketing materials.
  • Maintain an organized media library of campus events and activities.
  1. Website & Digital Communications
  • Update website content regularly with news, announcements, and event coverage
  • Improve website engagement and user experience
  • Use Google Analytics and related tools to monitor website traffic and visitor behavior
  1. Branding & Promotional Support/Creation
  • Help maintain consistent branding across all campuses and digital platforms
  • Support the creation of flyers, banners, brochures, presentations, and promotional materials
  • Work in close coordination with the Marketing Staff to ensure content production aligns with overall marketing strategy and messaging
  • Collaborate with staff and administration on communication campaigns and special projects

Position Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in social media management, digital communications, and/or marketing
  • Strong photography and videography skills
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar design tools
  • Experience with Google Analytics and social media analytics tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable traveling between campuses and attending school events (occasional evenings/weekends required for events such as graduations and award ceremonies)
  • Must understand and comply with FERPA guidelines and parental media consent policies when capturing or sharing student images/videos
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, classroom technology, printers, and troubleshooting common technology related issues
