Responsibilities

This position is primarily responsible for managing marketing deliverables and presentations across assigned division(s). You must display the desire to advance in your professional career and the ability to regularly increase production and oversight. You will be responsible for seeking out process improvement and opportunities for corporate initiative involvement.

As a Marketing Manager, you will:
  • Manage the pursuit process from early strategy through proposal and pursuit interview while upholding the standards set forth in the Brasfield & Gorrie brand standards
  • Ensure the level of quality and accuracy for all marketing deliverables within assigned division(s), and across divisions
  • Identify, recommend, and implement technical and creative process improvements
  • Participate in a corporate working group and contribute time and ideas
  • Write and edit non-technical sections of brochures, proposals, and presentations
  • Lead efforts with Regional Operations and Business Development to support marketing strategy, including client meetings, tradeshows, and special events
  • Maintain project and employee information and project photography utilizing Salesforce and OpenAsset
  • Keep the Communications team informed on public relations events and/or milestones involving assigned division(s), provide them with background information, and assist with approval process with project teams and clients.
  • Remain current with competitor intelligence by reviewing competitor proposals when possible, attending trade shows, reviewing websites, and reading trade publications such as ENR
  • Hold a committee position on local SMPS chapter board, industry-related organization or non-profit organization
  • Provide leadership and mentoring other marketing team members

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
We're looking for someone who has:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field
  • 6-10 years of prior marketing experience in the AEC industry or in a similar field
  • High proficiency in desktop publishing, presentation and other marketing related software, including Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign), Salesforce, Prezi, OpenAsset, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Availability for occasional local and out-of-town travel (5%)
