Title:Finance ManagerJob Description:

Compensation: $125,000-$140,000 per year

Job Overview

Manages Finance activity for assigned account portfolio and territory. This includes budgeting, performance monitoring, forecasting, profitability and variance analysis, and managing other business initiatives. Partners directly with operations leadership to drive performance, accountability, and improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Build and develop strong relationships and maintain communication channels with Operations and functional teams

  • Own and manage financial results for assigned scope

  • Report, analyze, interpret, and communicate financial and operational issues

  • Identify, communicate, train, guide and influence opportunities for margin improvement and cost containment

  • Prepare timely and accurate internal month end Close reports of financial activity and profitability; prepare and post journal entries as required

  • Report and communicate business metrics timely

  • Escalate and address issues to key corporate members prior to financial close

  • Develop and improve financial analysis tools and models

  • Be part of an exciting growth opportunity with autonomy to affect the business

  • Travel as necessary

Qualification

Education and/ or Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university, MBA a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Prior finance experience required.

Ability and willingness to integrate and communicate with all organizational levels

Experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion preferred

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to multitask while meeting tight deadlines

Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate summary results

Maturity to handle confidential data

Advanced Excel skills

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

May be required to have a valid driver's license.
