Web Developer

At Go Auto, we're looking for a Web Developer who enjoys building quality digital products and solving real-world problems.

You'll join a collaborative team of developers, creating high-performing websites and mobile applications that are beautiful, intuitive, and built to scale.

Working with technologies including Craft CMS, Next.js, React Native, and AI-powered development tools, you'll help deliver projects from concept through to launch while contributing ideas that improve both our products and development practices.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our development team, you'll:

  • Develop and maintain websites using Craft CMS and Next.js
  • Collaborate closely with designers to bring engaging user experiences to life
  • Integrate APIs, backend services, and databases
  • Optimise applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and solve technical challenges
  • Contribute to the development of APIs and backend services (Python experience is a bonus)
  • Participate in code reviews and champion development best practices
  • Explore new tools, frameworks, and approaches that help us build better products and improve how we work

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience developing web and mobile applications with strong proficiency in Next.js, JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience with Craft CMS preferred; candidates with strong experience in comparable CMS platforms and modern web frameworks are encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
  • Understanding of responsive design, performance optimisation, and modern development workflows
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools and workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and problem-solving
  • Experience with Git and version control best practices
  • Strong debugging, testing, and deployment skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment
