Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Location:  

714 S. Weber Road
Bolingbrook, IL 60490

Job Overview:

We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are energetic and have a positive attitude. The technicians need to seek solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles  
  • Continuously build experience as an Automotive Technician across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
  • Work as part of a team to solve Guest concerns quickly and effectively
  • Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Work closely with Management and Advisors to effectively communicate to Guests 

Qualifications
  • Positive attitude and a desire to serve Customers
  • 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
  • ASE Certifications preferred
  • Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
  • Basic computer & internet competency
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills
  • Drive manual transmissions vehicles

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
