Job description

Come join the Belmark team as a Web-to-Print Press Operator! In this role, you will operate our state-of-the-art HP Indigo Press technology utilized in production in the Web-to-Print ® Division. If you're looking for a role where you can apply your technical skills, ensure top-quality production, and be part of a fast-paced, innovative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge printing technology, with opportunities to grow and develop your expertise.

*A pre-employment drug test and a background check are required if offered the position.*

Schedule:

  • 3rd shift hours are from 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., Sunday, 12:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday
  • Overtime after 36 hours!

Pay:

  • $23 - $25 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.
  • The shift differential for 3rd shift is $2.00 more per hour

What will I do in this role?

  • Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
  • Responsible for complying with and following all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
  • Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.
  • Web the press. Clean the press. Perform routine press maintenance.
  • Complete the necessary paperwork.
  • Understand and properly utilize HP DFE Software
  • Keep work area and machine organized and clean.
  • Responsible for meeting the 48 hour stated turn around objective.
  • May cross train in other areas of Web-to-Print ®
  • May operate In Line Die Cutting Equipment.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Must have excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to give, receive and analyze information.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May be required to work some overtime and on other shifts.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate and answer questions in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ability to: stand and walk for 80% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 20% of work time.
  • Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and spatial relationships; and to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
  • Ability to: use hands for 100% of work time; reach above shoulders for 50% of work time; and use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time.
  • Ability to lift: 10 pounds or less 25% of work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of work time; 50 pounds or less 25% of work time; and may lift 100 pounds or less 5% of work time.
  • May lift 100 pounds or more.
  • May be required to use sense of smell.
