Role Overview

  • The Web Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering multiple concurrent web and digital marketing initiatives across U.S., European, and Asian markets. This role ensures projects meet defined business and marketing objectives while being delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • The position requires strong cross-functional leadership, technical fluency in web development environments, and the ability to manage multilingual and multi-regional initiatives in a structured enterprise setting.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource strategies for global web and marketing initiatives
  • Define scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Lead cross-functional teams including marketing, development, design, content, and localization
  • Ensure projects progress according to defined timelines with proactive issue resolution
  • Maintain alignment between business objectives and technical execution

Web & Digital Delivery Leadership

  • Manage web projects from proposal and requirements definition through development, QA, and launch
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
  • Coordinate development teams to resolve functionality issues and technical blockers
  • Lead daily stand-ups or scrums to drive prioritization and execution
  • Oversee QA processes, testing plans, and bug resolution tracking
  • Review deliverables to ensure compliance with standards, governance, and performance expectations
  • Maintain documentation of workflows, best practices, and compliance standards

Monitoring, Reporting & Risk Management

  • Own full project lifecycle accountability
  • Track milestones, budgets, risks, and performance metrics
  • Provide structured status reports and executive-level updates
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies
  • Escalate issues appropriately to leadership when required
  • Facilitate project meetings and decision-making sessions

Stakeholder & Global Coordination

  • Partner with regional marketing managers to align web and communication priorities
  • Evaluate incoming requests and recommend efficient technical solutions
  • Manage scope changes and maintain budget control
  • Coordinate translation workflows and localization efforts for international markets
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and execution across global regions

Process, Systems & Resource Management

  • Identify and implement process improvements within web and marketing project workflows
  • Manage project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and reporting systems
  • Oversee CMS content updates and governance compliance
  • Coordinate resource allocation across teams
  • Facilitate documentation, action item tracking, and quality control processes
