Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate key client projects in partnership with Agency Account Managers, subject-matter experts (like creatives, web developers, researchers, data scientists and social media strategists) and senior leadership

  • Create and manage detailed project plans and budgets

  • Ensure work is completed on time, within budget and meets client expectations

  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills

  • Lead with initiative-taking thinking and communication with team and clients (as needed)

  • Establish project communication plans and define project roles

  • Assess and document project needs, discovery, deadline setting, task assignments and stakeholder updates

  • Prepare timely, concise, accurate, user-friendly project reports for internal teams, senior leadership, and clients

  • Maintain awareness of team member bandwidth and/or constraints as well as skill sets and expertise

  • Manage resource allocation across projects and departments

  • Immediately and effectively address any issues that may hinder on-time, on-budget delivery of best-in-class product

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution on multiple projects

  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule and/or costs

  • Report issues as appropriate to senior leadership or internal project team

  • Create and maintain detailed notes on client interactions, expectations, feedback, and timing

  • Lead internal and client meetings, craft meeting agendas

  • Set and manage expectations among the project team

  • Commit to ongoing learning to ensure proficiency

  • Contribute to the establishment of project management as a discipline within the organization – help to define processes and systems that maximize the team’s output and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years Project Management experience, preferably in technology, PR, or marketing

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, advertising, English, journalism, communications, or a related field

  • Experience in planning, directing, and coordinating projects and teams

  • Ability to build strong working relationships across multiple functions/roles

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • Comfortable working productively with limited guidance

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable interfacing directly with clients as needed

  • Strong people skills and ease with working in a 100% remote/hybrid environment

  • Detail-focused analytical person

  • Proficient in project management best practices, preferably PMP certified or other on-platform certifications

  • Highly proficient in applicable PM tools and systems (i.e., Teams, Jira, Google Drive, Excel, and other productivity tools)

  • Agency experience required
