YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Successfully coordinate and manage all day-to-day operations of the plant including production and production support.
  • Manages all drivers and dispatching using the most efficient means practical while meeting customer expectations supporting the branch's commercial goals and minimizing liability to the company.
  • Ensure that all work is accurate and completed on time.
  • Works with District Operations Manager to ensure compliance to applicable company policies and government regulations. This may include accident/incident investigations, hiring and termination decisions, and environmental, health, safety and quality issues.
  • Identifies and resolves delivery problems and helps to ensure smooth movement of goods.
  • Maintains a satisfactory knowledge of legislative and regulatory programs that affect operations.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to Brenntag Pacific safety program.
  • Coordinates with Commercial and Operations Management to service customers in the safest most efficient manner possible.
  • Represent Brenntag Pacific in a professional manner.
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English Language.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the chemical distribution business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management and personnel in a professional manner. This includes outside customers, all levels of regulatory authorities, agency enforcement/inspectors, and auditors.
  • Possess thorough working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Occasional to moderate travel may be required.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, and a minimum of 5 years
    related work experience; or a combination of education and experience.
