Position Summary
Hive Group, a HUBZone-certified SDVOSB and multiple award-winning organization, delivers innovative solutions for complex, mission-critical federal programs. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Media Support Specialist to manage web content, digital resources, and data systems for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TACS) Small Business Programs located at Redstone Arsenal, AL. In this role, you will oversee the daily maintenance of the Small Business website, ensuring the rapid deployment of time-sensitive news releases and business opportunities within one working day of clearance. You will serve as a key operational link, collaborating with the IT Directorate on site functionality upgrades and partnering with the Public Affairs Directorate to ensure strict compliance with public release guidelines. Additionally, you will drive data accuracy by inputting critical information into the eSBIE database and producing standard programmatic analyses, schedules, and flow diagrams.
This role offers a unique opportunity to directly empower small businesses looking to support our nation's missile defense infrastructure. As a vital member of the MDA TACS team, you will not just maintain a website-you will manage the primary digital gateway that connects innovative commercial partners with critical defense contracts. Your work will directly impact program transparency and speed-to-market by ensuring time-sensitive data is published smoothly and securely. This position provides an excellent platform for a mid-level professional to blend technical web management with public affairs compliance, offering a high-visibility environment, collaborative teamwork, and the chance to champion small business integration within complex aerospace and defense initiatives. This role requires an ACTIVE SECRET Clearance.
Work Location: This position is performed on-site at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Regular on-site attendance is required to support customer and contract requirements. Telework may be available based on contract requirements and customer approval."
Key Responsibilities
  • Engage actively in reviews, meetings, and conferences to drive programmatic courses of action.
  • Develop precise analysis, schedules, diagrams, estimates, formal reports, and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Produce targeted data and strategic information as defined by leadership for critical metrics reporting.
  • Draft clear documentation for public release in strict accordance with Small Business Policy.
  • Comply with Public Affairs Directorate rules to post approved documentation within one working day of clearance.
  • Manage a fully functional, searchable online repository linking firms to specific MDA Program efforts.
  • Launch customized Marketplace databases within two working days of receiving program requirements.
  • Oversee the MDA/SB MKO Portal by removing outdated content monthly and maintaining compliance with IT directives.
  • Update website news, resources, and functionality using approved Electronic Small Business Information Exchange (eSBIE) tools.
  • Manage monthly site updates while aligning with the Transformation and Information Technology Office (TF) on compliance.
  • Coordinate and schedule both in-person and virtual meetings between small businesses and SB leadership.
  • Manage MS Teams licenses for MDA staff and provide dedicated technical support for webinars and virtual platforms

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience supporting an Office of Small Business Programs.
  • Experience managing websites/web pages to ensure accuracy of content and keeping information current.
  • Experience managing database systems and web portals, with a proven track record of transitioning legacy data frameworks into dedicated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
  • ACTIVE Secret Clearance Required
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated compensation range for this position is between $112,376 - $124,205 annually. Actual salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's specialized skills, certifications, and years of experience.
