Represents library at external meetings. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level. Qualifications ABOUT YOU: A successful candidate will have some or all of the following ..

Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or related field; 5 years library services experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the duties such as those listed above. Knowledge of: Supervisory principles; Scheduling principles; Advanced principles, procedures and methods related to area of assignment; Applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, codes, and regulations; Information resources, including: collection management, preservation, and conservation; Web editing software; Social media platforms; Systems of cataloging, metadata, indexing, and classification standards; Concepts, principles, and techniques of reference and user service; Learning theories, instructional methods, and achievement measures. Skill in: Delegating and prioritizing work; Monitoring and evaluating staff; Using a computer and related software applications; Managing projects within assigned parameters; Budgeting principles and practices.
