Addon Services LLC is seeking a Web Designer to support a Department of Defense (DoD) program under the PEO CS&CSS contract. This role is responsible for maintaining, updating, and enhancing public-facing web platforms while ensuring compliance with federal accessibility and security standards.


The ideal candidate will have strong experience in web design, content management, and government compliance requirements, with the ability to collaborate across technical and communications teams.

  •  Maintain and manage public-facing websites, ensuring continuous functionality, accessibility, and performance 
  • Perform configuration updates and content changes in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and relevance  
  • Design, develop, and implement web pages including full source code delivery and testing on government-specified systems  
  • Update and maintain existing PEO web pages, including enhancements to layout, functionality, and content structure  
  • Create templates, layouts, graphics, animations, and UI components using approved tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and SharePoint Designer  
  • Collaborate with Public Affairs Office (PAO), SharePoint teams, and graphic design personnel to develop user-friendly interfaces and integrated web solutions  
  • Ensure all websites and digital content comply with Section 508 accessibility standards, supporting users with disabilities  
  • Apply and maintain compliance with DoD and Army cybersecurity and IT policies (AR 25-1, AR 25-2, DoDI 8500.01, etc.)  
  • Coordinate with cloud service providers to ensure system availability and maintenance access

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience) 
  • Proven experience in web design, development, and content management 
  • Proficiency with: 
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) 
  • SharePoint Designer / SharePoint environments 
  • HTML, CSS, and web development best practices 
  • Strong understanding of Section 508 compliance and accessibility standards 
  • Experience working within structured environments with defined IT/security policies 
  • Ability to manage multiple updates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD, Army, or federal government programs 
  • Familiarity with: 
    • AR 25-1 / AR 25-2 policies 
    • DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, DoDI 8500 series) 
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (PAO, IT, design)
