AI Application Builder (Vibecoding) - Master-Level Internship

Vosyn

Etobicoke, ON

$32/hr

Contractor

Job description

About Us:

At Vosyn, we embrace the exciting, game-changing world of Artificial Intelligence, driving innovation and pioneering impactful projects across various industries. We are a trailblazing Language Synthesis AI firm reshaping global communication by dissolving language barriers and empowering users. We believe in fostering a culture of flexibility, continuous improvement, and solution-focused strategies. Here, every idea is welcomed, nurtured, and has the potential to scale to new heights. Currently, we're at the forefront of a significant IPO endeavor, truly a unicorn in the making. We invite you to be part of our journey and leave your imprint on the future of AI.

About the Role:

We are seeking a resourceful, fast-moving AI Application Builder Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for a Master's level student who builds software primarily by directing AI coding tools rather than writing every line by hand a practice often called "vibecoding." You will turn briefs, rough requirements, and client roadmaps into working web applications, internal tools, and prototypes at speed, then wire them up to the AI and data layers your teammates build. The ideal candidate knows how to scope a build, prompt iteratively, review and debug AI-generated code, and ship something that actually works and, just as importantly, knows where vibecoding stops and careful engineering has to take over.

Tools & Tech Stack:

AI-native IDEs / editors: Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or Cline

Prompt-to-app builders: Lovable, Bolt.new, v0 (Vercel), or Replit Agent

Front-end frameworks: React.js / Next.js (the typical output of these tools)

Backend-as-a-service: Supabase or Firebase

Version control: Git / GitHub

Collaboration & documentation: Notion

Key Responsibilities:

Build responsive web applications, internal tools, and landing pages primarily through AI coding tools such as Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, or v0.

Translate written briefs, feature requests, and client roadmaps into working, deployable software.

Prompt iteratively and refine AI-generated output to meet functional and design requirements.

Review, test, and debug AI-generated code to ensure it is correct, secure, and maintainable - not just "it ran once."

Integrate front-end builds with the back-ends, agents, and retrieval services built by the Applied AI and Integration engineers so data and AI features flow end to end.

Recognize where vibecoding is the right tool and where a problem needs hand-written code or a teammate's help, and escalate accordingly.

Deploy applications, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
Document your work in Notion so others can pick it up.

About You:
Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's program enrollment or completion is mandatory.
Demonstrable, hands-on experience building applications with at least one major AI coding tool (Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit Agent, GitHub Copilot, or similar) - ideally shown through a portfolio, GitHub, or live demo links.
Strong prompting skills: the ability to break a build into clear steps and guide an AI tool to a working result.
Enough foundational coding literacy (JavaScript / React, HTML, CSS) to read, evaluate, and fix what the AI generates.
Comfort with Git and basic deployment workflows.
A bias toward shipping: you would rather build a working prototype than write a long document about it.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills within a cross-functional team environment.

New graduates are encouraged to apply

We believe exceptional talent often emerges from diverse paths. If you possess a profound curiosity, a genuine passion for continuous personal and professional growth, and a strong desire to apply your unique abilities to create significant impact within our team, we strongly encourage you to apply-even if your background doesn't align perfectly with every single qualification.

Employment Type: CONTRACTOR
