Job Summary:

The Web Developer makes and maintains websites, integrating applications, video, graphics, and other content. Web developers handle all technical aspects of a website, including its responsiveness across platforms, performance (website speed) and capacity (the maximum amount of traffic the site could handle at a given time). They will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to create responsive, performant, and brand-consistent digital experiences across internal and external platforms.

Essential Functions: Job Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain high-quality front-end code with HTML and CSS.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate mockups into functional components.
  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of UI component libraries.
  • Optimize site speed, asset delivery, and code organization.
  • Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
  • Maintain consistent branding and UI patterns across company websites.
  • Stay current with evolving front-end and UX/UI practices, suggesting tools and processing that improve team workflows.
  • Communicate with colleagues, IT, and managers to identify improvements/upgrades to current site functionality.
  • Evaluate written code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible across all devices.
  • Maintains a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in continued education as needed.

Qualifications: Education

Experience
  • 2-5 years of professional front-end web development experience, with a strong foundation in modern HTML and CSS.
  • Experience in graphic design.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), WordPress, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven success in project coordination and website management.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript (Preferred)
  • Experience with SOLIDWORKS or 3D modeling software (Preferred)
  • Standard working conditions include a temperature-controlled office and manufacturing environment.
