Job Summary:
ECOM is seeking an experienced full-stack web application developer to develop cloud-based applications and maintain existing on-premise applications. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement front-end and back-end functionalities, while also providing support for web infrastructure and end-users.
Responsibilities:
• Develops full-stack web applications based on the selected technology stack
• Maintains and supports content management systems in the cloud
• Troubleshoots and updates existing web applications for current clients
• Creates web applications and internal tools for client community using core technologies
• Creates and / or modifies clean, well-structured and documented code
• Provides technical expertise in front- and back-end web development
• Supports web infrastructure by providing end-user support, applications maintenance, product evaluation, back-end development, and internal management tools
• Ensures that new applications retain high quality and consistent look and feel across multiple devices and browsers
• Helps develop and deploy upgrade / migration plans for existing applications and database system as needed
• Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Related web development experience in any of the following areas: Front-end frameworks, such as Vue, React, or Angular
• JavaScript, PHP and/or Python - AWS or GCP platform knowledge
• Operation of Apache/NGINX web servers on Linux platform
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop complex web applications using open source tools, languages, libraries and current standards-compliant code
• Ability to build front-end web applications utilizing one of the common frameworks, such as Vue, Angular, or React and integrate with the back-end services
• Knowledge of web content management and cloud services such as AWS or GCP
• Expert level knowledge of front-end development languages and ability to hand code HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Understanding of single sign-on authentication, role-based access security
• Knowledge of the back-end setup for databases, API end-points, and application hosting
• Ability to write, compile, test, debug and deploy web applications
• Implements and maintains content management systems
• Evaluates third-party modules for functionality, accessibility, security, and maintainability
• Ensures web server and site technical performance
• Performs selected website administration duties for existing clients
• Supports the implementation of life-cycle.
