Web Designer (Marketing)

Browserbase

San Francisco, CA • On-site

Full-time

Posted 6 days ago

Job description

About Browserbase
Browserbase is a serverless infrastructure platform that powers headless browsers for AI agents, web automation, and data collection at scale, enabling developers to spin up thousands of browsers in milliseconds globally. We handle the complexity of managing browser fleets-offering built-in features like captcha solving, residential proxies, session recording, and Live View debugging.
We've hit strong product-market fit with developers building everything from AI agents to large-scale web scrapers. Backed by top investors (Series B-funded and growing fast), Browserbase is defining the browser infrastructure category.
About the Role
We're seeking a Design Engineer with strong visual taste to drive creative marketing initiatives. Our developer tool requires attention to speed, interactions, and details, demanding broad design skills to create high-quality designs and prototypes.
You'll be part of our growing design team, collaborating closely with other designers, and our marketing team to bring ideas to life from concept to production. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends creative design thinking with front-end engineering.
What You'll Do
  • Build with modern tools: Develop responsive, accessible, and interactive web experiences using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Tell the Browserbase story: Shape Browserbase's brand through public-facing work (microsites, landing pages, and campaigns) that resonate with developers.
  • Bridge design & code: Work in Figma and code to translate visual concepts into high-quality, interactive experiences and prototypes.
  • Elevate quality: Raise the bar on craft and consistency, shipping visible, tasteful work that makes Browserbase feel top-of-class.
  • Shape systems: Establish and maintain a reusable design system of components and patterns that scale with the team.
  • Collaborate deeply: Partner with designers, engineers, growth, and product leads to own projects from concept to launch.

You're a good fit if you...
  • Have a strong front-end development experience (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS).
  • Enjoy exploring new creative technologies and stay outcome-oriented in a fast-moving environment.
  • Obsess over typography, motion, and detail to create polished interactions and meaningful developer-facing experiences.
  • Are excited to work 5 days a week in our San Francisco HQ (or are open to relocating here).

Nice to Haves
  • Industry Experience: Work on developer tools, infrastructure products, or technical platforms.
  • 3D Animation: Familiarity with Three.js or WebGL, GLSL shaders, or complex animations.
  • Creative Range: Experience with video editing, motion graphics, or other creative mediums.
  • Community Presence: Contributions to open source or public presence in the design/dev community.

Why Browserbase
  • Work on a product that developers genuinely love (just check our Twitter mentions @browserbasehq).
  • Collaborate with our existing (ultra talented) design team in shaping the visual and interactive future of Browserbase.
  • Shape the user experience of a category-defining infrastructure company.
  • Join a lean, high-impact team where your work directly influences growth.
  • Series B-funded with strong backing and clear product-market fit.
  • Collaborate with a team that values craft, speed, and building for builders.

More about Browserbase
Working here means having flexibility and ownership over our brand and product. This is a place to learn a ton, build your brand, and make an impact.
We are fully in office 5 days a week in downtown San Francisco. We have a hard working, collaborative culture, and we're energized by the prospect of Browserbase powering the largest AI applications.
