  • Develop and maintain automated tests, technical documentation, implementation notes, and production support procedures.
  • Contribute to application modernization, technical debt reduction, performance improvements, and architectural planning.

  • Follow secure software development and production observability best practices.
Required Qualifications

  • Strong telecommunications domain knowledge, including telecommunications systems, terminology, operational processes, network services, or network operations workflows.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.
  • Strong frontend development experience with Vue.js.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS or a comparable utility-first CSS framework.
  • Hands-on experience with GitLab, including repositories, branches, merge requests, code reviews, and issue management.
  • Experience maintaining and enhancing large, mature, mission-critical applications.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience reviewing code and testing or validating work completed by other developers.
  • Experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
  • Experience using AI-assisted software development tools in a professional engineering environment.
  • Ability to balance modernization initiatives with application reliability, maintainability, backward compatibility, and business continuity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business teams.
  • Ability to work primarily during Eastern or Central Time Zone business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies.
  • Experience modernizing legacy applications or incrementally migrating mature systems.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with relational databases, asynchronous processing, caching, and application monitoring.
  • Experience with unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end test automation.
  • Experience supporting high-availability operational applications with strict uptime requirements.
