Job description

We are seeking an experienced ESRI Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive GIS web applications using the ESRI ArcGIS platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ArcGIS Web technologies, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks to deliver scalable, high-performance geospatial solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain web-based GIS applications using the ESRI ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern web technologies.
  • Integrate GIS data, map services, and geospatial functionality into web applications.
  • Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable application components.
  • Perform application testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and user guides.
  • Support application deployment, maintenance, and enhancements.
  • Follow development best practices, coding standards, and version control processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field.
  • 9–14 years of experience in web application development with a strong focus on ESRI ArcGIS technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with ESRI ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data, and geospatial application development.
  • Experience integrating GIS services, REST APIs, and web services.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Experience with geospatial front-end and back-end development.
  • Experience developing and deploying applications in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools.
