Job description

The Workforce Staffing Web Production team creates exceptional candidate experiences to attract and hire the hundreds of thousands of hourly team members who power Amazon's customer mission.
We are looking for a hands-on Web Experience Manager to create, activate, and optimise web experiences for candidates seeking hourly jobs with Amazon. You will use AI tools to accelerate workflows, improve quality assurance, and support data-driven decisions - while championing web accessibility to ensure every candidate, regardless of ability, can navigate the hiring journey with ease. You will bring a sound understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS), user experience and interface (UX/UI) standards, responsive design, and accessible development practices (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG), iterating continually to improve the candidate experience. You are detail-oriented, data-driven, customer-centric, and technically proficient.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop, publish, and manage online content using Amazon's CMS technology, partnering with stakeholders across Creative, UX, Strategy, and Engineering to deliver engaging, accessible web experiences for hourly hiring candidates
• Apply knowledge of HTML, CSS, UX/UI principles, and web accessibility standards (WCAG) to build, maintain, and quality-assure responsive career site pages and templates across devices and browsers
• Leverage analytics and performance data to identify improvement opportunities, inform content strategy, and implement enhancements - including SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and lifecycle marketing integration with relevant partners
• Utilise AI tools to streamline quality assurance, accelerate repetitive workflows, and support data-driven decision-making, while managing projects, establishing ways of working, and maintaining documentation such as templates, SOPs, and CMS guides
• Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot website issues, test new features, and serve as a liaison between business needs and technical solutions - communicating effectively across leadership, cross-functional partners, and direct requestors
A day in the life
You will spend your day working directly in our Content Management Systems - authoring content, configuring layouts, and maintaining digital assets to ensure they meet accessibility standards and render consistently across devices. You will collaborate with strategists and designers to shape page improvements, and partner with engineering to troubleshoot issues or test new features. You will use AI tools to speed up QA checks, leverage performance data to inform decisions, consult with internal teams on best practices, and communicate project updates to leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience with HTML, CSS, scripting languages, and DOM manipulation
- Experience with enterprise Content Management Systems
- Experience with project management and ticketing tools, such as Asana or JIRA
- Experience with web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience managing content within a large enterprise CMS at scale, across multiple geographies and languages
- Experience with AI tools, agents, and automation workflows, to improve productivity and operational processes
- Experience with A/B testing, personalisation, and marketing automation
- Experience with web accessibility standards and WCAG compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to larger audiences, including leadership
