Job description

Wealth Product Manager
The Director, Managed Accounts Product Manager is responsible for managing wealth managed accounts products, which includes customer and advisor needs analysis, external benchmarking, and feature definition and roll out of enhancements. This role contributes to the overall vision of providing diverse set of products and solutions to help clients reach their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support Product Lifecycle Management: Create and maintain product roadmaps, develop and articulate product specifications, and drive product life cycle management activities.
  • Deliver Data and Insights: Perform research and business analysis on market trends and leverage customer insights to inform product strategy; present key findings and potential solutions to produce actionable product recommendations.
  • Monitor Performance Metrics: Define and track to key performance indicators to measure product performance and value delivered - understand P&L impact and make data-driven decisions to deliver on product/solution business case.
  • Develop Product Collateral: In partnership with Marketing team, develop and maintain product-related content and communications including sales, training/education, and marketing materials.
  • Drive Value Proposition: Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team to drive advisor and customer engagement plans and distribution strategies.
  • Maintain Governance Standards: Manage risk by aligning product/service activities to the firm's risk appetite - maintaining and enhancing product-related controls as required and ensuring design and development of products/solutions adhere to applicable regulations and internal policies.
Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Career Level

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with Managed Accounts

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years experience as an investment or wealth Product Manager
  • Deep understanding of TIAA Wealth's Managed Account offerings, specifically Private Asset Management (PAM)

Anticipated Posting End Date:
Base Pay Range: $104,000/yr - $145,000/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
